We have been successfully providing football coaching for tens of thousands of children across Coventry and Warwickshire since 1993.
In the last few years we have diversified in the range of sports we deliver and the ages of people to which we offer activities, with specific sessions now delivered for people aged 5 to 75 years old. Our philosophy is to ensure that all of our sporting activities are inclusive and provide each individual with a positive, memorable experience.
The diverse range of sports, ages and abilities for which we now cater for is reflected in our objective of ‘Increasing opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity for people of all ages and abilities across our community‘.
We aim to promote an enjoyable experience of sport, whether people are taking part purely for recreational purposes, or whether we are supporting players in developing to play at the highest level they can.
We work with local, regional and national organisations (including National Governing Bodies), to ensure that we are offering a positive experience in any given sport, linking in with national initiatives and utilising resources developed by the experts.
We work with over 40 primary schools and a number of secondary schools in Coventry and Warwickshire to provide curricular or extra-curricular sports activity.
We have coaches that are qualified and trained in a range of sports and other activities (such as dance and gymnastics) and aim to provide a ‘one stop shop’ approach for schools for all of their sporting needs.
More information on our sports offer to schools can be found in our ‘education‘ section, but for more information or an informal discussion please contact the Sky Blues in the Community Office on 024 7678 6349 and we can talk through your school requirements.
