 Education Manager (Full-Time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified education professional to join and award-winning team delivering education themed community initiatives on behalf of Coventry City Football Club.

The Education Manager will oversee the development of the ‘Education’ department for Sky Blues in the Community. This will include the design, management, delivery and evaluation of all projects and activities under our education theme. The post holder will actively work with partner organisations (local, regional and national) to explore and identify new opportunities for education projects under the Sky Blues in the Community banner – expanding the portfolio of Education programmes on offer.

Applicants must hold a relevant teaching qualification, will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and are required to hold a full UK Driving Licence with access to a suitable vehicle for work.

Health Officer (Full-Time)

Sky Blues in the Community are looking to add to their award-winning team with a position that delivers healthy lifestyle themed community activities on behalf of Coventry City Football Club.

The post holder is responsible for planning and delivering a portfolio of health-based activities – particularly the “In it Together” women’s sport and physical activity project funded by Sport England. The main aims of this project are to celebrate, inspire and encourage adult women and teenage girls to participate in more physical activity and adopt healthier lifestyles. The Health Officer will work with local partner organisations to coordinate, deliver and develop a range of programmes for local females.

Applicants must: have relevant qualifications and experience of working in the sport, health or fitness industry; will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & are required to hold a full UK Driving Licence with access to a suitable vehicle for work. The role will involve some evening & occasional weekend work.

Casual Coaches

Sky Blues in the Community are continuously looking for casual coaches to support delivery of various community initiatives on behalf of Coventry City FC. Please see a copy of our casual coach advert here.

We are currently actively seeking Qualified Football Coaches in Coventry and Warwickshire for some daytime, after-school and evening work.

In particular we are currently seeking casual coaches for:

After school club coaches in Coventry (3.15pm to 4.30pm on weekdays)

Player Development Centres (must be FA Level 3 Qualified)

Saturday Clubs – Coaches required to work on our primary age Saturday clubs providing a fun introduction to football for children.

Evening Coaching – We are seeking coaches to work on our range of activities for young people at sports centres and community venues across Coventry. These sessions include our award winning Premier League Kicks project, as well as Sport England funded programmes.
